Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 10, 2026

Google Ads Builder ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at https://adsbuilder.io (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

1. What We Do

Google Ads Builder is an AI-powered Google Ads campaign creation tool. Users provide their website URL, campaign goals, and budget. Our Service uses artificial intelligence to generate keywords, ad copy, ad groups, and extensions. Users can then review, edit, and refine their campaigns before pushing them live to their Google Ads account via the Google Ads API.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and Google account identifier from Google's OAuth service.

Campaign Data

When you create campaigns, we store the information you provide: website URL, budget, target locations, audience notes, and any additional instructions. We also store the AI-generated campaign content (keywords, headlines, descriptions, extensions) that you create and edit within the Service.

Google Ads Account Data

When you connect your Google Ads account, we access and store:

  • Your Google Ads customer ID and account name
  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens (encrypted) to make API calls on your behalf
  • Keyword Planner data (search volumes, CPC estimates) to inform campaign generation

We access your Google Ads account solely to: (a) retrieve keyword research data from the Keyword Planner API, and (b) create campaigns in your account when you explicitly click "Push to Google Ads". We do not read, modify, or delete any existing campaigns or data in your Google Ads account.

Usage Data

We automatically collect standard log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This is used for analytics, debugging, and improving the Service.

3. Google Ads API — Limited Use Disclosure

Google Ads Builder's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only use Google Ads API data to provide and improve the campaign creation features of our Service.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share Google Ads API data with third parties for advertising, data brokering, or any purpose unrelated to the Service.
  • We do not use Google Ads API data for surveillance, tracking, or profiling of individuals.
  • We store OAuth tokens securely using encrypted credentials. Tokens are only used to make authorized API calls on your behalf.
  • You can revoke our access at any time by disconnecting your Google Ads account from the Service or by revoking access in your Google Account permissions.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide the Service: generate campaigns, process keyword research, push campaigns to Google Ads
  • To communicate with you: account notifications, support, and service updates
  • To improve the Service: analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, and develop new features
  • To ensure security: detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

  • Google Ads API — to retrieve keyword data and create campaigns in your Google Ads account
  • Google OAuth 2.0 — for authentication and authorization
  • AI Language Models (via OpenRouter) — to generate campaign content. We send your campaign details (website URL, goals, keyword data) to the AI model. No Google OAuth tokens or personally identifiable information are sent to the AI provider.
  • Heroku — for hosting and infrastructure
  • Stripe — for payment processing (if applicable)

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and campaign data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and campaign data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. OAuth tokens are deleted immediately when you disconnect your Google Ads account.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

  • HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted storage of OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel
  • Regular security reviews of our infrastructure

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and ensure the Service functions correctly. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability — request a machine-readable copy of your data
  • Objection — object to processing of your data
  • Revoke consent — withdraw consent for data processing at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
